Piece of Cake
Despite being assigned to grooms, cake toppers Val and Mara want nothing more than to be with one another. When the shop closes for the night, they make their move! But it won't be as easy as they think...
Val is the more feisty of the two brides. She starts the chain of events and takes action before thinking. While impulsive, the cake topper is caring and will do anything for Mara.
She was designed with iconic characters such as Princess Peach and Bo Peep in mind. This is a design that says "damsel in distress," which she completely subverts.
Mara is the gentler of the two, taking a passive approach to her situation. While soft, she is not fragile and has no problem defending Val when needed.
Mara was designed to be a more traditional bride. Because she is gentle and less argumentative than Val, circles were incorporated into many aspects of her look to show her quiet nature.
The main antagonist, and Val’s groom. He can’t stand the idea of being the only groom left alone and fights Val in her attempt to leave.
Mara’s groom. He is significantly less aggressive than Brad. He has a much kinder and indecisive nature.
